Kavindra and Nimesha had one clear vision — a celebration that honoured every thread of their Kandyan heritage. From the sacred hewisi drumbeats at dawn to the last flame of the poruwa lamp, every moment was orchestrated with intention and love.
Araliya Events worked alongside both families for fourteen months, weaving together two families' traditions into one seamless ceremony. The venue was transformed overnight — seven hundred white lotus flowers brought in from Kandy, handwoven toran arches sourced from Embilipitiya artisans, and a poruwa crafted from aged jak wood.
With 320 guests from across the island and overseas, coordination was immense — but on the day, it looked effortless. As it should.
