Our Story
Born from a Passion
for Love Stories
Araliya Events was founded in 2016 by Malini Perera, who believed that every Sri Lankan couple deserved a wedding as unique and beautiful as their love story. What began as a boutique planning service in Colombo quickly grew into the island's most trusted full-service wedding company.
The name "Araliya" — the plumeria flower, sacred in Sri Lankan culture — reflects our core belief: that beauty, tradition, and love are interwoven. Today, with a passionate team of planners and designers, we've had the honour of being part of over 150 couples' most important day.
